Our Early Childhood curriculum is modelled after the U.K. Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage, which sets standards for learning, development and child care from birth to 5 years of age.

Our Primary Curriculum is aligned with the UK Primary Curriculum. It focuses on developing knowledge and skills in the core subjects of English, Math, Science. It is enriched with Bahasa Indonesia, Social Studies, ICT, Art and Recreation, as well as CARE, our Character and Religious Education Program. This serves as a solid foundation for future studies.
The Table below shows the list of subjects for SUI Primary. Each period is 40 minutes. Mandarin and Music and other electives are offered in our Extracurricular Activities.
International | Year 6 – Primary Checkpoint (English, Science, Math)
National | Year 6 – National Exams (Bahasa Indonesia, Math, Science)
Our Middle School Curriculum is aligned with UK Secondary GCSE standards, which fosters creativity, initiative and learner independence. It is also integrated with a modification of the National curriculum. It provides broad and balanced study covering a wide range of subjects through enquiry-based as well as student-based approaches to learning.
The Table below shows the list of subjects for SUI Middle School. Each period is 45 minutes. Students are required to take only 2 out of the 4 Specialized subjects offered. They may also participate in extracurricular activities after class hours.
International | Year 9 – International GCSE exams
National | Year 9 (Semester 2) – National Exams (Bahasa Indonesia, Science, Math)
Our High School curriculum is aligned with UK-A Level standards as well as student-led, research-based projects, so students will be well-prepared and stand above the rest when applying to universities. The curriculum is integrated with a modification of the National Curriculum. Students have the option to take qualifying exams for internationally recognized AS & A Level qualifications, as well as the National Exams.
The Table below shows the list of subjects for our High School. Each period is 45 minutes. Students may choose AS/A-leve subjects based on their higher education (university) goals. They may also take part in Extracurricular activities after class hours.
